At 1 year and 4 months old, this adorable cat is capturing the hearts of many on the internet. Natalie, her owner, regularly posts cute photos of Mostaccioli on a special Instagram account dedicated to her furry friend. Follow along for more whiskery adventures!
According to Natalie’s interview with Bored Panda, she came across Mostaccioli along with her three siblings when they were just a day old. Among them, Mostaccioli stood out due to her distinctive “mustache”. Natalie explained that the kittens’ mother was a petite feral cat who was malnourished. On discovering the distressed kittens, Natalie acted promptly to rescue them. After drying and cleaning them, she managed to coax their feral mother into a large kennel to care for them safely.
Initially, Natalie didn’t notice Mostaccioli’s unique facial marking as she didn’t want to disturb the kittens too much in their fragile state. But when she started supplementing Mostaccioli’s feeding to aid her survival, she noticed the mustache and decided then that she would become a permanent part of her family. Mostaccioli’s siblings were also adopted into loving homes, with one even joining a household with an elderly poodle companion. This adorable cat has sported her mustache since birth, making her truly one-of-a-kind.

Natalie is absolutely thrilled to have such a one-of-a-kind pet: “Every morning when I see her, I can’t believe she’s real and that she’s mine. I always thought mustache cats were just a cute internet trend, but now I have one in real life. I feel so lucky to have her in my life, sharing her unique charm with the world. People often ask if I drew her mustache on, which always makes me chuckle.
Her ‘sister’ Izanami is a bit more shy around new people, but everyone agrees she’s adorable with her little folded ears. Mostaccioli and Izanami are inseparable, and I’m grateful they get along so well. They’re practically siblings, being so close in age. My dad jokingly calls Mostaccioli Freddie Mercury and Izanami a little raccoon.”
